BUSINESS OUTREACH

Quarterly Bulletins

Clean Business in a Watershed was a quarterly business outreach bulletin provided to all businesses within the Scituate Reservoir Watershed. The purpose of the bulletins was to educate business owners and employees about the importance of operating in the watershed of a public drinking water supply, as well as a watershed that provides drinking water wells to the majority of residents.

The bulletins covered a wide range of topics including basic watershed concepts, septic systems, and the impact of motors and automobiles on water quality, all with an eye towards the concerns of the small business owner. The bulletins helped to build relationships between the Scituate Reservoir Watershed Education Program and business owners throughout the watershed.
