Program Application

A multilingual education series consisting of workshops, farm tours, and hands-on farm days developed for leading urban farmers and gardeners in Providence County, RI. Program topics and schedules are tailored to the interests and availability of you, the participant.

By participating in the Urban Growers Leadership Program you will: 

• Learn new agriculture information and practices
• Expand your current agricultural knowledge and your communities’ 
• Start or expand your growing journey 
• Connect and expand your urban agriculture community network through meeting countless community members and other urban agricultural organizations 
• Receive access to resources such as workshop notes, video recordings, and $575 of funding! 
• And so much more!

Who Can Apply? 

• Any individual that is growing or gardening in a small/urban space in Providence County, RI.

• Past participants have included community garden leaders, small business owners,employees of farming and gardening organizations, and farmers who grow primarily for their own families.

• Any individual who has the Excitement and commitment to learn,get involved in the community,and advance their growing skills.
